(The last in a week-long series on hope and optimism for the future.)
Life has a way of bringing struggle and challenge — who hasn’t felt overwhelmed by the mountain we have to climb — but it also means any number of opportunities. We often just need to open our eyes.
The challenge then comes down to us and how we face our problems. Here’s a few words of advice to that end. Godspeed to our future!

This is just what the world needs–a reminder of beauty, hope, and goodness. There is so much negativity out there, so this series was a breath of fresh air. Thanks, Brian! 🥰

Thanks so much Erin. I wasn’t sure how the series would go over — something helpful or a week of lecturing. I’m glad to hear that it helped! Have a wonderful weekend!😎😎😎😎😎

Love the Plato and Cousteau quotes. There is something so apt about the lantern metaphor – so thanks for raising a lantern high this week, Brian!

I love those two quotes too. I just wrote in my response to Erin that I wasn’t sure how the series would go. It came together pretty quickly. I worried about lecturing folks or putting my head in the sand avoiding real problems — I’m glad to hear that it was helpful. Thanks Wynne!

Thanks Cheryl!!!! I appreciate you not pointing out that my week of stories was me trying to be as creative as I could be in saying “hey guys let’s not be so down.” Ha ha! No, thank you, it was fun to write. Thanks so much! 😎😎😎😎😎
