I’m out to lunch. I’m on holiday. I’m traveling the world. I’m going on a getaway. I’m on vacay. I’m running from the law. I’m taking my ball and going home. I’m stopping to smell the roses. I’m going fishing. I’m taking a sabbatical. I’m going on a road trip.
These are all different ways of saying that I’m taking a break for the next two weeks from December 29 to January 12. I’m taking a mini-vacation from WordPress.

Oh, I plan to come back. Famous last words. Oh, I’m tentatively planning to return on Monday, January 12. I just need to catch up on life and . . . well, relax.
I need a vacation from the craziness of the world. Oh, I won’t be going too far. I hope to still comment some on the posts I see. I just want to catch my breath a little.
Maybe I’ll see you on my journeys. Look for the crazy guy — straight jacket and all. Bon voyage!

I just took a week off. It was tempting to take more time. Enjoy your relaxation time. We just returned from a week staying in a rain forest with an 80-foot-waterfall with our kids — if you want to look at any posts while you’re relaxing 😅

Great idea (though I’m the guy who famously blogs every day when he’s on vacation, so I doubt I’d ever have the fortitude to do the same).
Enjoy your break, and I’ll catch ya on the flip side!
