As I mentioned in my post this week, our dog, Nittany, celebrates a big birthday in a few weeks. Of course, I have to honor pets of all kind. They find a way into our hearts and never let go.
Here’s a few additional thoughts.

They are all wonderful! About 25 years ago I met Dean Koontz at a writer’s conference. My husband and I were invited to sit at his table for dinner. He was the keynote speaker, and yes, he’s a dog lover. He loves golden retrievers and they are often in his books.
